Weekend Wrap-up…on a Tuesday
So The Madre left yesterday and what weekend we had! I’m not sure I’ve ever had such a fabulously fiber-filled five days in my life (and keep in mind I spent three years studying textile design in grad school). We not only hit the Como Conservatory & the Textile Center, we hit five yarn stores, one fiber studio, six garage sales, the Walker, the Sculpture Garden, two movies, and three consignment shops. Oh, and watched quite a bit of the Olympics. Needless to say, I’m a bit tired out. But before I crash super early tonight, here are a few more tidbits from our amazing weekend!
This little guy definitely agreed that The Madre was wearing a cute dress!
Below is Part I of our felting experiment. I shall refrain from posting Part II, so feel free to draw your own conclusions on how well the actual “felting” part went.
And to top it all off, the new bird feeder is a big hit with all sorts of critters!
