Getting good mail is always fun, but a whole week of awesome mail?  Woohoo!

First to show up was the latest Knits magazine…

Then proof that my parents ROCK!!!  The Madre is clearly getting psyched up for the Sock Summit.

And JV made me an absolutely beautiful knitting gauge.

Can you believe the gorgeous purpleheart wood back and inlay??

Even Celeste was impressed.

The last package was filled with so much fantasticness that it deserves it’s own post…

Today was a long day full of too many stressful announcements, after which I definitely need a pick-me-up.  I stopped at BN on the way home from work to scope out the magazine stand and came home with these two beauties.  I’m sure the knitting magazine doesn’t surprise you, but I’m really excited about taking the Spinning for Weavers class at the Weavers Guild next month, hence the Spin Off magazine.  Here’s hoping tomorrow is a better day and if it’s not, at least I’ll have some good reading for the bus ride home.
